| Handbrake | Check operation / advise if adjustment required |
| Clutch | Check operation / advise if adjustment required |
| Washers, wipers | Check operation / adjust if necessary |
| Exterior lights and fascia illumination | Check operation / condition |
| Instruments gauges, warning lights and horn | Check operation |
| Under bonnet | |
| Coolant expansion tank, windscreen washer, power steering and brake fluid reservoirs | Check / top up fluid levels as necessary - in case of abnormal fluid loss, investigate and report |
| Coolant | Check antifreeze concentration, advise if required |
| Under vehicle | |
| Braking system | With wheels on, check brake pads and discs for wear. Check rear brake linings for wear (through drum brake inspection hole). |
| Wheels & Tyres | |
| Tyres, including spare wheel | Adjust pressure, check wear and condition |
| Wheel nuts | Tighten to correct torque |

| Air filter | Replace |
| Oil and filter | Drain and replace |
